The Denby Dale and Clayton West Methodist Circuit is a grouping of 11 churches in Yorkshire, in the mainly rural area of the upper valleys of the Yorkshire rivers Don and Dearne.
The Circuit’s area includes parts of the Kirklees and Wakefield Metropolitan authorities in West Yorkshire, and of the Barnsley Metropolitan authority in South Yorkshire.
Nine of the churches are wholly Methodist, while St Andrews (Penistone) is a Methodist and United Reformed Church congregation, and The Church in West Bretton is an Anglican/Methodist Local Ecumenical Partnership.
All the churches are committed to working as closely as possible with other Christian churches of whatever denominations, and also to serving the life both of their local communities and of the wider world, nationally and internationally.
